Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Data Analytics, the Data Analyst is responsible for the requirements gathering, analysis, modeling and data design that yields solutions to support the university's data-driven decision-making. The Data Analyst focuses on data quality and data governance; working collaboratively with university departments, and our technology and data governance teams, to build an empowered W&M community that manages data as an asset.

This position is subject to additional hours beyond the typical work day/week to include evenings and weekends as needed.
Information Security: This position requires administrative access to the university's information systems and/or sensitive university data. The incumbent is expected to be aware of and adhere to the information security policies of the university as well as all applicable federal, state, and local laws, follow information security best practices applicable to their job, and or pursue information security training and awareness opportunities when possible.
