The role
Working as a Lead for IT Security across the entire IT Services team you will play a vital role in the development of new solutions as well as working at a senior level across the University to help drive the importance and understanding of security across our staff and student communities. Working with the Senior management team within IT you will review and develop our existing security framework, standards, policies and architecture to help drive us to Cyber Essential and security framework based on ISO 27001.
We need you to help ensure our solutions are safe, secure and robust for the future. Security has an important role to play in the next 12 months an enabling us to accelerate our plans around delivering our digital strategy, research technology and developing cloud platforms that will enable us to push the boundaries but in a secure and safe manner
