The Customer Service Manager will work across the Directorate to support the Head of Customer Services in ensuring that the processes and tasks undertaken in the Directorate are done in ways that support the student experience and the requirements of the Schools, the University and external stakeholders. The role will support business development, manage areas of activity, undertake project work and perform a key account management role for the Directorate in respect of the Schools.

The role will be responsible for managing staff in the Directorate deployed in support of their area of responsibility within a flexible resourcing system, which will see staff working across functional areas to support University objectives and priorities. In addition, the role will have a formal line management responsibility for a group of staff.

The role will support the development and delivery of a customer service focus and an operational culture based on the highest professional values including cross-functional teamwork, customer service, innovation and University wide partnership.
