Customer Service Assistant (Kitchen Porter)
Job description
This new full-time post is available from January 2024 on a permanent basis.
We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Porter to join our Retail & Catering team. This full time, permanent post is available on a 52-week basis.
The role
You will be committed to efficiently assisting the kitchen team with the day- to-day tasks that are required to produce high standards of cleanliness in a busy environment, in line with Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements.
We are looking for a customer focused team player who can work alone or in a team. You will be focused and well organised. Having qualifications in food hygiene and health and safety would be advantageous, you will hold a flexible approach to working hours and practises, as well as having good communication skills.
This post will be operational across numerous locations within the Commercial Operations wider team. Working 36.5 hours per week for any 5 days out of 7 this role will require you to work during the day and some evenings and weekends.
Staff and students use our facilities year-round, along with external customers out of term time. Across the campuses we provide the following services; retail shops, retail catering, residential catering, licenced premises, hospitality, conferencing and events.
