Job Summary Supervises, coordinates, and participates in the care, cleaning, and general housekeeping of all Housing and Residence Life buildings and is principally responsible for the oversight of 4 to 8 buildings and the daily management of 4 to 8 employees.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
One year certificate from college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Driver's License Required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of chemicals and cleaning techniques, management principles, department policy and procedures.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, operate commercial grade floor machinery, capable of driving all vehicles and equipment in the housekeeping department.
Ability to demonstrate discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential matters.
Preferred Qualifications Prefer 2 years of work experience in similar or related field of work, familiarity with computer based time clock and familiarity with maintenance work order systems.
