Kitchen Porter Catering - Rutherford Location: Canterbury

We are looking for a full–time kitchen porter, with previous experience in a catering environment and excellent customer services skills, to join our award winning Food & Beverage Team.

With 12 different outlets on our beautiful campus, you will have access to a diverse experience with a range of development opportunities.

What will you be doing?

  • Assisting the Chef on duty in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all aspects of the production of food and the general working environment.
  • Clearing kitchen refuse to collection areas and the correct disposal of waste.
  • Assistintg in the receipt and handling of all deliveries of consumable and other products in the kitchen.
  • Observing and being compliant with all aspects of health, safety and hygiene standards and adherence to the relevant legislation and the University's code of practice.
  • You will be required to maintain high standards of service delivery and be willing and flexible to work in other outlets across the campus to ensure our high standards are maintained
