Are you a CRM professional looking for an exciting new opportunity? Here at the University of Hertfordshire we are developing a new cutting-edge approach to CRM within Higher Education to deliver a world class student experience and create life-long relationships with our graduates.
The University of Hertfordshire is in the process of developing a Student CRM service built on Salesforce technologies structured into two phases: a student recruitment phase and a student retention and alumni phase.
We are looking to enhance the project team with a number of project staff on 2-year contracts to bring the first phase to production and then establish a rapid development and release approach for phase 2. The following posts are being sought at this time:
• CRM Project Manager
• CRM Business Analyst
• CRM Designer
• CRM Developer
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to create innovative solutions and play a pivotal role in managing, analysing, designing, and developing the CRM solution which aims to increase student recruitment and retention.
Successful candidates will have excellent opportunities to develop their skills and experience in Salesforce CRM and participation in the Salesforce Certification programme will be encouraged.
Main duties and responsibilities
Duties include the development, implementation, and maintenance the Salesforce CRM data architecture strategy aligned with business and technology requirements. You will design new and innovative approaches to meeting user requirements using Salesforce technologies and the complementary technologies provided by TargetX, Form Assembly, Alteryx, and other related technology providers.
You will work closely with the CRM Developer (Salesforce) to define, agree, and implement the CRM data architecture and related developments on the Salesforce system, including formal descriptions of data definitions, models, flow diagrams, enterprise schema.
You will also provide specialist advice on current and potential future developments, policy, and forward planning, to the CRM Project Manager and senior stakeholders.
Skills and experience required
The successful candidate will have experience at an appropriate level of responsibility in CRM data architecture in a large organisational environment. This should include experience translating business requirements into relational data models and outputs with a solid understanding of transactional data processes and underpinning data management issues.
Experience of integrating systems and integration with external agencies, including meeting statutory requirements is expected as well as the translation of business requirements into technical design and efficient on- line processes and services, including a strong understanding of underpinning data management issues. Other essential experience include data modelling and mapping, running design workshops, documentation and testing practices.
A good understanding of the data assets, processes and outputs required to support CRM and marketing, along with a good understanding of information security practices and good practice. Very strong analytical and problem- solving skills are required.
You will hold a minimum of a Degree or equivalent level qualification or proven experience in salesforce technologies. A qualification in data managements is desirable.
