This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. The coordinator is a staff member in the Center for Workforce and Professional Education located at UCM Lee's Summit. The workforce development team is responsible for coordinating activities across our workforce and professional education areas. Primary responsibilities include the day-to-day coordination of existing short-term training, assess market labor data and regional employer needs to identify new programming, build curriculum and submit budgets for new and current programs, assist with program evaluations and reporting. This position will have knowledge of contractual relationships with employer and partner agencies to ensure organization compliance. Reporting directly to the University of Central Missouri – Lee's Summit Program Manager of Workforce Development and working in partnership with the Workforce Development team, the coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the growth and sustainability of UCM workforce development programs.

Bachelors degree required. Bachelors degree in Organizational Development, Education Business, Management, Social Science, or related field preferred.
