The Coordinator of Housing Operations position is responsible for the daily coordination and communication with all incoming students to include receiving and processing all housing applications; working with the Assignment Coordinator to fulfill requests and to notify students of the assignments; fielding calls from students and parents concerning housing and assignments; and making decisions regarding potential moves within the residence halls. This position also handles all meal plan requests to ensure students get the appropriate meal plans and are correctly billed for the meal plan; works with Student Financial Services in pro-rating meal plans as students change plans or leave housing or the University; and makes billing adjustments on these plans. This position is the administrator of the Adirondack Housing Management system to include building and maintaining the residence hall tables in the system and inputting all data from students into this management system; and maintaining all housing data to include applications, acceptances, cancellations and waiting lists.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree 2. Minimum of one year of housing related experience with an emphasis on central office operations 3. Proficiency with the use of a housing management system
Preferred Qualifications Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility Work Hours
