The Marketing Services team plays a key role in attracting students to the University of Otago and helping raise the profile of the University throughout New Zealand and our target international markets.
The role/Te mahi
Marketing Coordinators work alongside Marketing Specialists, and Marketing Advisers based in client portfolios. This role coordinates and supports the production and delivery of the University's marketing, promotional and advertising activities.
You will be encouraged to contribute your ideas and be involved in activities like campaign planning and scheduling, coordinating the production of marketing materials, implementing campaign activity across marketing channels, and measuring campaign outcomes.

Your skills and experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheako
We are looking for a qualified, organised, and customer focused marketing professional who has a passion for the University of Otago and its vision.
You will also need to have: • 1-4 years' experience supporting the delivery of integrated marketing activities, campaigns, and advertising. Exceptional graduates will also be considered. • A good knowledge of all marketing channels including digital and social marketing tools and systems. • Excellent project management skills and high attention to detail. • Strong communication skills – verbal and written. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver a high-quality customer service. • Positive energy and calm under pressure.
Cultural competency, knowledge of markets, marketing relationships, and networks specific to Māori or Pacific Islands would be an advantage.

This is full time, fixed term (6 month) position.
