About You This position will coordinate the development and delivery of RMIT's equity outreach program I Belong for middle and senior secondary school students in RMIT's Schools Network Access Partnership (SNAP). This will involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and review learning content and workshops, and coordinating participation and delivery informed by RMIT's commitment to social inclusion and the engagement of students from schools and groups that are under-represented in tertiary education.
The position works with a small and enthusiastic team and with internal stakeholders in RMIT portfolios, Colleges and Schools, including the Ngarara Willim Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students. External partners include over 200 Victorian secondary schools in the RMIT SNAP Partnership.
Some occasional out of hours work and travel is required.

About the Portfolio
The Education Portfolio is headed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Vice President who leads the planning and implementation of the University's strategies related to RMIT's academic programs and the RMIT student experience. The Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the student experience, learning and teaching outcomes and the management of learning and research information sources.
The Education Portfolio plays a key role in empowering students to access education, participate actively in the life of the University and achieve successful and fulfilling lives beyond graduation. The provision of a stimulating and satisfying experience for students is a priority for the University.
