Salary Level HEW 7 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University
About the Role
As Coordinator, Elite Athlete Pathways, you will coordinate elite athlete recruitment initiatives, administer timetabling and flexible study assistance, develop and execute high performance support workshops. You will also assist the Manager, Sport and Fitness and the Manager, Enrolment Services to review the University's Elite Athlete and Performers Entry Scheme offers of admission.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Experience within the Tertiary Education sector, and/or experience in an elite sporting environment
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to establish, maintain and leverage positive working relationships to resolve conflict or complex issues toward positive outcomes
Commitment to excellence in customer service with highly developed communication and negotiation skills
Well-developed time management skills and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes and resolve issues with sensitivity and confidentiality
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies and provide appropriate advice to students and staff
Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
About the Portfolio
The Education Portfolio is led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Vice-President who is responsible for planning and implementation of the University's strategies related to RMIT's academic programs and the student experience. The Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the student experience, learning and teaching outcomes and the management of learning and research information sources.
