Center for Health Data Science (HeaDS) is looking to hire a Center Coordinator / Administrator, with start date at the latest 8 January 2024, but preferably sooner.
About Center for Health Data Science:
The aim of Center for Health Data Science, which opened in March of 2020, is to strengthen data science research and application, at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (Panum). The Center functions as a hub for research groups throughout the Faculty to establish data science as a topic of research in its own right. The data science lab within the Center provides data science support for all research groups at SUND, whilst also developing, hosting and coordinating courses to improve the data science skills of researchers at the faculty. The long-term goal of the Center is to house various research working within the field of health data science. Our philosophy is a relaxed work environment driven by inspired and independent people, and we hope that our new Center Coordinator / Administrator will help us build upon this.
The Position:
As the Center Coordinator / Administrator, you will have a varied job with many different tasks:
Center administration
Help us organise.
Social media, outreach and promotion
Help us strengthen our social media profile (internally at the university as well as online).
Course & Event coordination
Help plan and coordinate HeaDS courses and conferences.
Social planning
Help us make an educational and fun working environment.
N.B: The Center coordinator/Administrator will have a student employee to assist them.
Your profile:
A Master Degree (MSc) or equivalent in either:
Biology, biomedical science, public health, computer science, bioinformatics or similar.
Communication, public relations, administration, or similar.
Strong digital literacy skills
Your personal competencies

Terms of Employment:
The average weekly working hours are 37 hours per week.
The position is an unlimited position. The starting date is 8 January 2024 or after agreement.
Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). The monthly salary will be based on the number of years of work experience (seniority) with the possibility to negotiate a salary supplement based on prior experiences and qualifications. The employer will pay an additional 17.1 % to your pension fund.
