The Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a continuing-track (non-tenure) position in Management Information Systems at the Instructor level or Assistant Professor level to begin Fall 2022. The instructor position requires the candidate to possess a Masters' degree (or higher) in Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. The assistant professor position requires the candidate to possess a Ph.D. (or expects to complete one in the next year) in Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Successful candidates will demonstrate the drive and vision to develop innovative, cutting-edge instructional and research programs. Candidates will be expected to teach courses in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics, including programming, database design, statistics, and data analytics, possibly at times in our coordinated program in China. Assistant professor candidates are further expected to contribute to the research environment, generate scholarly publications, and maintain scholarly academic status under AACSB accreditation standards.

The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems offers Bachelors' and Masters' degrees in accounting and in management information systems along with several joint degrees, partnering with both the College of Engineering and the College's MBA programs.
