Job Summary
Program Managers are expected to support SCE's commitment to ‘leading change' through competency-based programming, promoting local and global collaborations, and introducing innovative programming to remain current with customer needs and changes in the work world.
Under general supervision and reporting to the Continuing Education Associate Director, these positions lead and supervise all aspects of the department programming and the program manager is expected to perform a wide variety of complex duties exercising good judgment and demonstrating a high level of professionalism and effectiveness in successfully supporting the delivery of face-to-face and online noncredit courses.
Primary programming will be in the areas of health sciences, technology, and human services, although other program areas may be assigned. Communication and working with instructors, participants, staff and student workers are critical to the success of the programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SALARY : These positions offer a competitive salary. The Hiring range is $52,000 to $56,000. Individual candidates' experience, education and qualifications will determine the appropriate starting rate at the time of hire. This position is in Salary Grade 21.
