Job Summary

Professional Education (PE) provides quality continuing education for early childhood education providers, students seeking to become an approved mediator in both Kansas and Missouri or maintain certification. Qualified instructors are needed to develop and deliver various PE classes. Classes are conducted in a continuing education classroom environment or live online in the morning, afternoon or evening sessions during weekdays or weekends.

PE instructors should be prepared to create seminars that draw from their own professional background, work experience and from current state approved topics or standards that the audience can draw from to enhance their own practice as well as earn continuing education hours for certification purposes. Instructors are expected to provide quality teaching materials including documentation to substantiate teaching.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience needed for topic area • Experience in areas of professional education

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching adults through workshops and seminars • Experience with PowerPoint, Canvas, and Zoom
