GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Instructors play a vital role in the program's overall instruction. Instructors bring with them a variety of backgrounds and professional experiences, which serve to foster growth in the program and enrich student learning. Instructors are responsible for structuring and supervising students' learning experiences in the classroom, labs, and clinical agencies. Must be a registered nurse with 2 years + of experience working with IV”s and PICC lines. Additional education or certification is preferred. Instructors will provide instruction and supervision in various learning environments to Allied Health students in noncredit areas of continuing education and professional development venues.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH/WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION:
Position involves sitting, standing and/or walking most of the time in a classroom/laboratory setting. Constant (67-100%) reaching, standing, walking, lifting, dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and viewing various types of close visual work. Frequent (34-66%) stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, carrying, and perceiving attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching. Exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally (10-33%). Will travel to other on-campus facilities, off-campus facilities and agencies to teach, attend meetings, etc.
