Offer DescriptionPostdoctoral Fellow position in the Division of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be associated with the Croatian Science Foundation project “Model of demyelination on a molecular scale at physiological and pathological conditions”. The successful candidate should have PhD degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy.

The successful candidate should have obtained a PhD in the field of Chemistry or Pharmacy.
Specific Requirements
The successful candidate should show a record of published scientific papers, active participation in scientific research work, personal presentations at scientific conferences, active applying of project proposals, recognition and awards for excellence in study and research work. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in computational chemistry, especially molecular dynamics of lipid bilayers, and in experimental work related to the preparation and characterization of nanoparticles.

Prerequisites for Appointment to Postdoctoral Fellow Employment Position: In addition to the general conditions for employment, applicants must meet the requirements stipulated in Article 43. in the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act and:
Ph.D. degree in chemistry,
The following should be attached to the application form: resume, evidence of the required academic degree and evidence on the fulfilment of other requirements. Appointment to a Postdoctoral Fellow position is for temporary period for 4 years.

The candidate cannot be employed as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Republic of Croatia for a total of more than four years
The employment includes a six-month trial period
