Job Reference: 1230467 About The Role: As a Content Creator, you will write, develop and deliver outstanding content aligned with Curtin's strategic marketing and operational plans. Your creativity and expertise will enhance our brand and reputation, helping to inspire people to choose Curtin. You will have a flair for crafting engaging, high-quality written content and a keen eye for detail. Working closely with a collaborative team of writers, designers, and producers – as well as various cross-functional University Marketing teams and the wider University community – you will create effective communications that resonate with our priority audiences across a range of print and online media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, consult, plan, and deliver high-quality written content across various channels and media (both print and online), including undergraduate and postgraduate course guides, content for digital and social platforms (paid and organic), podcasts, brochures, signage, SEO articles, marketing campaign materials, radio and video scripts, and print and OOH advertising for both domestic and international markets.
  • Ensure all content is of the highest standard, aligned with Curtin's brand values and guidelines, user experience and accessibility standards, and legislative requirements.
  • Work alongside teams to ensure writing briefs are delivered on time and meet objectives.
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of professional and personal conduct, embodying Curtin's values and signature behaviours.
  • Adapt and contribute: Undertake other activities consistent with the role's accountabilities and responsibilities.
  • About us: The University Marketing team supports Curtin's strategic vision to be a recognised international leader in research and education. To achieve this, our marketing and engagement strategies and initiatives are built around three areas of focus: brand and reputation, student recruitment, and engagement. We work closely with our stakeholders and partners to help the University achieve its goals and targets and to inspire people to choose Curtin. Curtin is a welcoming space where integrity, respect for one another, courage, excellence, and impact are essential to everyday life. Situated on Whadjuk Nyungar Country, our vibrant Bentley campus includes an art gallery, gym, childcare and medical centre, bus station, accessible parking and endless food options including a supermarket.
