The Construction Education Program is seeking positive, dynamic, student-
centered individuals to teach a diverse community of learners the desired
skills for today's work place. Preference will be given to candidates who are
committed to student success and the use of the classroom experiences to
enhance workplace understanding and performance.
Prepare and teach a full range of carpentry and construction management
coursework to include a yearly capstone project in conjunction with the
electrical technology, architectural technology, and HVAC programs.
Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes
assessment, advisory council activities, projects, student recruitment,
industry partnerships and other department or College activities.

Minimum of 8 years full-time related occupational experience
approved Journey-worker status
an Associate's degree in career field and 4 years full-time related
a Bachelor's degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and 2 years
full-time related occupational experience required.
Higher Education / Community College teaching experience preferred.
Familiarity with construction industry software and technology.
Prolonged periods of walking and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
