This full-time post is available from 5th December 2022 on a permanent basis.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

An exciting opportunity is available within the internal and stakeholder communications team for an enthusiastic communications professional to use their extensive experience and creativity to lead on the communications for the University's valued alumni community.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the strategic and operational direction of the University's alumni communications and engagement strategy and will use this strategy to build knowledge and excitement about all relevant alumni engagement and fundraising activities.

You will be required to manage and make use of the University's existing alumni communications channels, as well as identifying new ways to communicate with this key stakeholder group.

To deliver this role you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other colleagues and key stakeholders, the ability to manage a busy and demanding workload effectively, as well as having a background in creating impactful communications across a range of channels.
