A great opportunity has arisen for a Communications and Marketing Manager to sit within the School of Healthcare Enterprise and Innovation. The School of Healthcare, Enterprise & Innovation is a newly formed school in the Faculty of Medicine and this role will be key in translating the school vision and mission into communications and marketing strategies and delivery plans. This is a unique school within the Faculty and is enterprise focused rather than traditional educational delivery.

School Mission:

  • We make a positive impact on health and wellbeing by providing creative and effective solutions that benefit society.
  • We work together and collaborate to drive improvement and innovation and provide stimulating and flexible opportunities for our people.
  • This role will work with the School of Healthcare Enterprise and Innovation's Enterprise & Partnerships team to develop and implement the internal and external communications and marketing strategy of the school. The school is at an exciting stage of development and this role will be key in helping to define the marketing approach for the school and to evolve this as the school advances. This will include launching new channels, maintaining key communication channels and generating rich content, brand development/creation and providing advice on communications and marketing best practice in support of School enterprise activities.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of delivering internal and external communications and marketing in a large organisation, writing for a range of purposes and targeting diverse audiences. You will be an engaged team member, able to work independently in a complex organisation as part of a vibrant and growing team.

Further details on the role are provided in the attached job description and person specification. We are embracing hybrid and flexible working to enable delivery of this role.
