Responsibilities
The COBHA Small Business Accelerator is a brand new organization funded by a
grant from the Small Business Association.
The Small Business Accelerator will provide non-equity funding along with
support, mentorship, and an office co-working environment where small
businesses, community members, and entrepreneurial students develop and grow
their businesses.
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with USF's Small Business
Accelerator (in the Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center), local
business leaders, and entrepreneurs who are growing their businesses.
The student worker will work independently under the supervision of the
Project Director, the Executive-In-Residence, and with administrative
support from the administrative assistant to the dean. ( Teamwork )
The Project Director will work with the student worker to design a plan of
action that best fits with the student's career goals and/or interests. (

The student worker is encouraged to participate and attend workshops and
other events hosted by the Accelerator to enhance the student's experience
and network. ( Leadership and Teamwork )
Works as a team with other student workers and graduate fellows. (

Desired duties include
Plan a variety of types of events at the direction of the Project Director
( Critical Thinking, Teamwork, Communication, Leadership )
Communicate with the Executive-In-Residence, the advisory board, mentors,
and other community partners to connect resources to members. (

Check-in with members on progress and needed services and assistance (

Participate in the Accelerator applicant review process, schedule
interviews, assist with contract development and new member onboarding. (

Plan meetings and workshops at the direction of the Project Director
(Teamwork, Communication)
Research resources available to entrepreneurs in our region. (Critical
Thinking, Technology)
Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Current USF student in good standing
All majors are encouraged to apply.
Preference may be given to business majors or those interested in business.
NOTE
his position is grant funded and subject to the terms and conditions of the
grant. 20 hours/week preferred – Hours are highly flexible to fit with school,
work, sport schedules. Some evenings and weekends may be required. Work will
be completed primarily at the St. Bonaventure Campus/Plaster Center.
University shuttle is available for transportation.
Pay Rate Hourly $15.00
