The Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office Director will lead collaborative efforts between the LSU Cancer Center clinical trials team (program/section managers, nurses, coordinators)and faculty who utilize the Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office (CC-CTO) to refine, develop, and expand the services offered in order to advance the Cancer Center's clinical/translational research portfolio and enhance integration between therapeutic, non- therapeutic, interventional, and correlative research. They will work with study sponsors and internal partners to ensure that all contractual study needs are met. The Director is expected to autonomously facilitate high level coordination to train staff, create and implement standard operating procedures, develop protocols, work with regulatory and other CC-CTO staff on trial oversight and project activities, and monitor budgets with assistance from the LSU Cancer Center CAO and administrative staff.
