Job Description Summary:
GW's Community Counseling Services Center (CCSC) serves as a resource to the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area by providing low-cost counseling and referral services, clinical screenings, and outreach programming. It empowers clients through community outreach and client advocacy while providing opportunities for master's degree students to implement and develop expertise in counseling competencies under the close supervision of faculty and clinical supervisors. The CCSC is seeking a passionate mental health professional to provide dyadic and triadic supervision of practicum students. The CCSC has two primary missions: to provide quality counseling services to clients and to promote excellence in the training of master's and doctoral students through state-of-the-art clinical supervision. This position reports directly to the Director of the CCSC.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Intentionally employ and promote anti-racist/anti-oppressive interventions in clinic management and supervision -Provide direct and indirect supervision and consultation to master's or doctoral students -Ensuring clear communication with students and faculty around technical, procedural, and clinical procedures and policies -Provide crisis management guidance and oversight -Monitor CCSC service delivery with regard to professional and ethical service provision -Provide formative and summative student evaluation(s) -Perform other work-related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

A minimum of a master's degree, preferably in counseling, or a related profession; relevant certifications and/or licenses; and a minimum of two years of pertinent professional experience in clinical mental health or rehabilitation counseling
