The Clinical Research Officer (Dietician) will provide dietetics and
nutrition expertise to support research activities within the Exercise and
Nutrition Research Program. This will include but not be limited to dietary
analysis and nutrition prescription for research participants ranging from
healthy individuals to those with chronic disease, injury or illness.
More specifically the role entails:
Providing specialist input into nutrition-related research projects as
stipulated by successful funding applications, consultancy projects and
Facilitating and managing nutrition-related research activities as
directed by the Program Leader or Lead Investigator, including planning of
diets/meals for research studies.
You will need to have:
Post-graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics or equivalent
qualification coupled with practical experience Also desirable: ISAK
anthropometry qualification and/or DEXA (dual-energy x-ray
absorptiometry) accreditation (e.g. completion of the ANZBMS course in
Clinical Bone Densitometry which satisfies the requirements of radiation
Accreditation as a Practicing Dietitian with the Dieticians Association of
Australia. Desirable: Eligibility or membership of Sports Dietitians
Demonstrated experience working with dietary analysis software.

Total remuneration valued to $107,300 - $116,130pa, including salary component
$90,670 - $98,131 (Higher Education Worker Level 7), employer contribution
