Clinical Research Fellow in Scleroderma

Are you medically qualified and ambitious with an interest in translational research in Rheumatology? Do you have experience of working in Scleroderma and Connective Tissue Diseases? Do you want to further your career by working in one of the UK's leading research intensive Universities?

You will support and undertake research in Scleroderma. Your research will focus on translational studies from the observational study STRIKE (Stratification for risk of progression in Scleroderma) to understand mechanisms of disease progression. You will lead your own studies in this area, including methods development and clinical studies and contribute to the work of the research group as a whole.

During your employment you will also work towards a PhD at the University of Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity if you are a Rheumatologist or Rheumatologist trainee, especially if you are aiming to sub specialise in Connective Tissue Diseases or pursue an academic career. You will be medically qualified with MRCP or equivalent and full GMC registration.
