£84559 to £114003 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience.
The University of Nottingham is seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to
the post of Clinical Professor/Clinical Associate Professor in Haematology to
provide academic leadership in haemato-oncology. This post will have a primary
research commitment in haematology in conjunction with teaching and clinical
service responsibilities. Applications from individuals with a research
portfolio in haematological cancers, early phase or translational research
being particularly welcome.
The successful candidate will be a nationally & internationally recognised
investigator with a proven record of research achievement in haemato-oncology
and a record of working collaboratively across disciplines. They will play a
leading role in building the clinical and translational research capacity as
well perusing their own programme of research.
The successful candidate will provide clinical service as an honorary
consultant in the Haematology Department at Nottingham University Hospitals
This post will be offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time
(40 hours) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing
to work part-time (minimum 28 hours per week). Please specify in your
