Position Number 977541 Department Social Work & Sociology Salary $60,000 Job Summary/Description

Perform faculty responsibilities in the areas of teaching and service at both the Bachelor's and Master's level. This is a campus based position and the job requirements are expected to be conducted on the Angelo State University campus.

Typical Duties/Job Duties

Teach five social work courses per semester at either the Bachelor's or Master's level. Teaching assignments are Monday through Friday as assigned. Assist with accreditation processes as needed, advise students, participate in student recruitment activities, and serve on committees.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must be able to teach a broad spectrum of topics in social work and have good communication and computer skills.

Minimum Qualifications

MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited social work program is required. Two years experience in post-MSW professional social work practice is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Texas LMSW, LMSW-AP, or LCSW license or license eligible is preferred.
