Funding This position is contingent upon the continuation of work and/or
The University of Idaho's Center on Disabilities and Human Development
(CDHD), College of Education, Health and Human Sciences seeks passionate and
well-qualified applicants for a Clinical Faculty appointment non-tenured to
direct the Idaho Project for Children with Deaf/Blindness. The successful
candidate will also participate in the Department of Curriculum and
Instruction as be a member of the Special Education faculty and a member of
the CDHD innovative leadership team working to improve lives of people with
disabilities and their families.

Education: Doctoral degree in education/special education, psychology, or
another human service-related field.
Direct experience meeting the specific needs of children and youth with
deaf blindness and/or other significant disabilities, families and
professionals including teachers and other allied health professionals.
Experience in leadership role(s);
Demonstrated record of scholarly productivity;.
Demonstrated grant writing abilities;
College level teaching experience;
Knowledge and Experience in behavioral principles;
Experience working with University, State and National policy and systems
Knowledge of and/or experience with University Centers for Excellence in
Knowledge and Experience in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental
Disabilities (LEND Programs).
