Position Summary
The primary location of this position is WCU's instructional site located in Biltmore Park (Asheville, NC) with a hybrid/remote option. Continued employment in this position will be contingent upon funding availability.
The School of Nursing at Western Carolina University (WCU) invites applications for a Clinical Program Support Specialist for the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program. This is a 30-hour/week position. Candidates interested in an academic career with a focus on building community relationships and securing clinical sites are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will have an enthusiasm for nursing, good interpersonal communication skills, and the flexibility to travel to potential clinical sites within western North Carolina.

The School of Nursing is located in Cullowhee and Asheville, NC. The main Cullowhee campus supports the traditional BSN program while the Asheville location houses the FNP program, other graduate nursing programs, and the Accelerated BSN program. The School of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and provides a collegial atmosphere.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing or a health-related field
Preferred Qualifications
Three years or more of experience in healthcare or higher education with a clinical program.
