Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science seeks Clinical Associates in Optometry at 100% effort for a renewable two-year term. The appointees will provide patient care in the area of optometry. The appointees will join a vibrant optometric team, as well as a distinguished community of colleagues and learners at UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates. The position does not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications. We especially welcome candidates who will have completed an optometric residency by the time of the appointment.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must have: 1) an optometric doctorate and 2) hold or be eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
