Position Overview
The department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry (OMFS/HD) at the Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD) is seeking to fill a full-time (1.0) 12-month clinical track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor.

You will contribute to building and strengthening our team through full participation in OMFS departmental activities. You will impact the trajectory of our students through student clinical and didactic teaching and staffing resident clinics. Close working relationships with allied health providers exists and opportunities for collaborative teaching and research are available.

Our main facility includes a state-of-the-art 45,000–square-foot James J. Fritts DDS Clinical Care Center on the IUPUI campus, adjacent to local hospitals and part of an urban academic health center. We deliver a wide range of services and outreach to more than 20,000 patients per year. IUSD enrolls approximately 800 students annually in degree and/or certificate programs in dentistry, allied dental programs, PhD, and advanced dental specialty programs tailored to current and future needs of the professions and the communities we serve. The IU School of Dentistry is the only dental school in the state and educates 80% of the dentists practicing in Indiana. Over 12,000 alumni of IUSD are pursuing careers throughout the US and around the world.
