Title Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine

This position is located in Terre Haute, Indiana

The faculty member in this position will teach medical students in courses in the first 2 years of medical school. The courses are Foundations of Clinical Practice 1 and 2, Understanding Diseases of Systems, Transitions 2 and Health System Science. The faculty member will also participate in interprofessional education. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching small groups, serving as a Master Clinician to train medical students in history-taking and physical examination, providing faculty support in Point-of-Care Ultrasound, and assisting in grading.

Indiana University School of Medicine-Terre Haute, established in 1971, is a regional campus of the Indiana University School of Medicine. The 4-year Rural Medical Education (RMED) program based on this campus was established in 2008 and trains future physicians interested in practicing in small towns and rural areas.
