Job Summary
The College of Nursing and Health Professions is looking for qualified Clinical Assistants (Nursing) to supervise student clinical learning experiences. Clinical assistants will assist qualified, masters or doctorally prepared full-time nursing faculty by facilitating student clinical learning experiences.
Clinical Assistants must hold a current license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Indiana; have an earned Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited baccalaureate program of nursing; have at least 6 months full-time equivalent RN clinical expertise; must be enrolled in a graduate or doctoral program, with a graduation date within 5 years of start date. Preference will be given to candidates with certification in one or more specialty.
Clinical assistants are hired on a semester-by-semester basis and will not work more than 90 hours per course not to exceed 360 clinical hours per semester (4 courses).
