Position Summary:
The incumbent acts as both a functional and technical leader in the development, upgrade, enhancement, training and support of business information systems in EPIC. Responsible for the development and maintenance of system applications Policies and Procedure in relation to Professional Billing modules. Facilitates discussions around billing system software changes and upgrades as needed and/or requested by all applicable users. Participates in the analysis and design of data communication links between systems.

Salary Range:
Annual RateMinimum $87,200.00 Midpoint $125,400.00 Maximum $163,600.00
Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Must possess the skill, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience using/implementing/supporting an EMR system's ambulatory and inpatient billing/charging modules
Ability to self-initiate and effectively problem solve issues
EPIC Certification in Resolute Professional Billing
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Ability to apply logical troubleshooting and analysis techniques for the purpose of problem resolution
Must be willing to participate in 24 hour on-call rotations as a system duty officer
Must have working knowledge of client/server systems, relational database structures and reporting tools
Must possess a working knowledge of HL7 and other interface/integration strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in related field
Experience with creating and effectively providing educational curriculum
Experience using/implementing/supporting Epic Charge Router
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
