This is a 12 month, benefits-eligible position. Blinn College pays 100% of health insurance for full-time employees, 50% for dependents, and two times your annual salary in life insurance benefits.     Position Summary Information

    Objective

    To provide technical support and repair to Blinn College computers, computer peripherals, associated audio/video components and software.

    Required Quals Summary

    2 years IT support experience with professional references required.

    A+ Technical certificate or equivalent.

    1. Install hardware and software to operate under Windows 10 & 11 and macOS.

    2. Provide faculty and staff with operating instructions related to PCs, software, peripherals, and audio/video equipment.

    3. Install Windows and MAC operating systems on faculty, staff, lab, classroom and counter computers.

    4. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Document hardware and software installation procedures and problem resolutions.

    1. 2 years working experience in industry related position.

    1. Associates Degree in related field.

    2. One or more years experience managing computers using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Active Directory or a cloud based configuration system.

    4. One or more years providing support for video conferencing solutions to include collaboration in high definition audio and video content with mobile devices (i.e. Zoom or Teams).

    5. Experience supporting Mac and iOS operating systems in a network environment.
