Clerk II in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 520114) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should process a recognized Diploma or above, with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (min. Grade C/Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language (min. Level 4) and Mathematics. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good research mindset; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; and proficiency in computer and software applications. Working experience in clinical research-related areas and direct interaction with people would be advantages.
The appointee will assist in various applications for research activities, recruitment of research subjects, and various research studies; arrange meetings; provide research/administrative support to other team members; and perform other duties as assigned.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
