Clerk II (holding the functional titles of Clinical Secretariat Assistant/Eye Care Assistant) (two posts) in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 523800)(to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Diploma/Associate Degree or above with at least 4 years' relevant work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluent Cantonese), the ability to work independently and in a team, and good communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be organised, highly motivated, responsible, resourceful, attentive to details, and able to multi-task.
The appointees will provide clinical and clerical support to the day-to-day services; prepare reports; handle general enquiries and perform other duties as assigned. They will mainly work in the eye day surgery centre located in Wong Chuk Hang. Occasional overtime work may be required.
