Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the Academic Support and Examinations Section of the Registry (Ref.: 520449) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 3 years' relevant work experience; OR a recognized Higher Diploma/Associate Degree with 2 to 3 years' relevant work experience; OR a recognized Bachelor's degree with 1 to 2 years' relevant work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills; strong IT capabilities in Microsoft Office, PC and software applications; the ability to work independently and in a team, and be self-motivated and attentive to details.
The appointee will be expected to handle student records-related matters, including the issuance of student cards, update of student personal data and academic records. He/She will also prepare course and enrolment records, handle enquiries, provide assistance in the annual student card collection exercise, etc.; and perform other duties as assigned. The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Those with a recognized Bachelor's degree will carry the functional title of Executive Assistant. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
