Clerk II/Clerical Assistant in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 523140) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' experience; OR 5 passes in HKCEE including English, Chinese and Mathematics, OR minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with 5 years' relevant work experience in tertiary institutions or public/quasi-public organizations. They should have a good command of English and Chinese; excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; IT proficiency such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or database management. Experience with management software would be an advantage. Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be considered as Clerical Assistant.
The appointee will provide administrative and logistics support to a team of doctors, nurses and other personnel looking after patients with blood cancer at the University's teaching hospital. He/She will (1) perform receptionist duties such as handling appointment bookings and incoming calls; (2) carry out stock taking on consumables and materials for general office and services; (3) perform data entry and filing of service documents; (4) maintain and develop project management system; and (5) perform other duties as assigned.
