Clerical Assistant in the Madam S. H. Ho Residence for Medical Students and Patrick Manson Student Residence (Ref.: 523345) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have completed Form 5 or above. They should have a fair knowledge of computer applications (including MS Office and other customized platforms), friendly customer-service manners, and good communication and interpersonal skills. They should be self-motivated and able to work with a team. Experience in the operation of student residence and/or facility is preferred.
The appointee will provide general clerical support to the daily operation of Madam S.H. Ho Residence for Medical Students and Patrick Manson Student Residence under the management of the LKS Faculty of Medicine. He/She will serve as a front-desk receptionist to answer enquiries in-person and on the phone, and provide counter services independently. He/She will follow through operational issues in the hall premises, process residential records, coordinate defect rectification, handle inventory records and invoices, liaise with contractors and other stakeholders, and perform other duties as assigned. The appointee is expected to exercise high sensitivity in handling confidential information in the process of answering enquiries, performing data entry, preparing documents, copying and filing, etc. He/She will also perform strenuous tasks, and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.
