These roles form part of a dynamic Support Services team who ensure that the Birkbeck sites are clean and fit for purpose before the start of a core working hours.
You will be primarily responsible for the cleaning, janitorial support and resetting of teaching rooms, research labs at the Bloomsbury Campus.
You will need to be dynamic with a ‘can do' attitude, enthusiastic, outgoing, flexible a great communicator and an excellent team player.
These roles involve liaising with Schools, Estates, Facilities, ITS, Room Bookings to ensure that the information on areas of use are up to date so that you can carry out your servicing duties.
You will be working as part of a team, you will need to demonstrate good customer care and possess the ability to assess problems quickly and be able to come up with practical solutions.
Shifts are indicative and you will be expected to cover the hours:
£20,111 per annum (£6,895.20 pro-rata per annum for 12 hours, £11,492 pro- rata per annum for 20 hours, (£13,790.40 pro-rata per annum for 24 hrs)
The salary quoted above is based on the London Living Wage and will increase annually in line with Government Review.
