Position Summary
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Medicine, seeks to hire a full-time child and adolescent psychology faculty member to focus on the treatment of co-existing substance use behaviors. The psychologist will be clinically based in Butner, NC at the Youth Behavioral Hospital (YBH) with occasional time also spent in a training and teaching capacity at the Department of Psychiatry Chapel Hill. YBH is a newly established and innovative 50 plus patient child and adolescent psychiatric hospital with four individual specialized units serving the children and families. This is a full-time fixed term (clinical) position with the University of North Carolina Department of Psychiatry. The rank will be based on the qualifications of the applicant. The Department of Psychiatry faculty is committed to clinical service, teaching, and research with a commitment to this mission and to the service of people of North Carolina.
