The Office of Administration is seeking a dynamic person to serve as Chief Business Officer for the division. This person will serve as an air traffic controller for the Vice President, integrating work streams, and communicating with the leadership team and the university. This position will work to provide clear pathways to project completions, provide insight to the VP on financials, and serve as a truth-teller for the division and the VP, ensuring the VP has a clear understanding of all aspects of a situation in order to make informed decisions.
The Chief Business Officer position is responsible to the Vice President for Administration/Chief Operating Officer, is a member of the Office of Administration leadership team, and serves as the primary liaison with University officials and administration units. This position has influence, facilitation, and management of a broad range of activities, including finance, administration, and policies/procedures. Additionally, the Chief Business Officer builds communications, collaborations, and respectful relationships with those in leadership roles, manages the activities of the Office of Administration, including business management, strategic planning, and budget preparation, and ensures compliance with university policies and procedures, and state, and federal regulations.
