The Role
Full Time, Continuing
Level 3 - $59,158 to $64,235 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
Bathurst
As the Chef, you will plan menus and prepare items to a high standard as well
as lead and train services assistants to deliver high quality, value for money
products. You will also be responsible for stock control and quality
standards, and ensuring the premises are maintained to required regulatory
standards.
To be successful you will have:
A formal trade qualification as a Chef.
Previous experience working in a large scale commercial catering
operation, including cost management.
Experience in roster preparation and exceptional communication and problem
solving skills in a high volume food service environment.
Understanding of and ability to apply Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
policies in the workplace with specific emphasis on risk management and
hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP).
