Provide flight, simulator, and ground instruction in accordance with UCM and
FAA regulations and procedures. Prepare schedules, maintain records, and
ensure that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by
each student in each flight course.

Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's

Bachelor's degree is preferred. In Aviation, Safety, or related field.
Formal training: Flight Training, Must be FAA Certified Flight Instructor.
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Other - Scheduling software
and Flight tracking software
One (1) year experience as a Certified Flight Instructor with 500 hours
Flight Instruction of which 125 hours must be instrument instruction.
Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of
Position: Criminal History check, Subject to random drug testing, Driver's
Other Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements
FAA Certified Flight Instructor with Second Class Medical Certificates, CFII
required and MEI preferred.
Pre-employment drug screening required.

Knowledge of and ability to apply effective instructional technique in the
classroom and in flight.
Knowledge of appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations and University Academic,
