Centre Manager/ Senior Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant I/II) (two posts) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 523678) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably a Master's degree in business-related disciplines, with at least 8 years' relevant administrative and management experience, including at least 5 years' work experience at supervisory role if appointed as AAI. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good organisational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; IT proficiency; and the ability to multitask as well as work well both in a team and independently with a high level of initiative. Experience with successful research funding application and grant management, as well as interacting with/ managing researchers would be a plus. Those with less experience will be considered as AAII.

The appointee for the AAI post will oversee the administration of the Faculty's newly established research centre on ESG; whereas the appointee for the AAI/II post will work on research and knowledge exchange portfolios, manage the centre's research budget, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Centre Director. Both appointees are also expected to take part in co- ordinating and facilitating cross-disciplinary academic research teams. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for AAI and 10% of basic salary for AAII.
