Position Information:
Anticipated Employment Dates: July 1, 2023 – May 31, 2024 (start date flexible)
Schedule: 20 hours per week -> Serve 15 hrs/week in office with additional 5 hrs dedicated to student org meetings/events. The exact start date and schedule will be determined by the supervisor and the selected candidate. Work Environment: Office setting, Occasional bending/lifting/twisting.
Pay: The hourly pay rate is $15/hr. and there are no benefits associated with this position.
Position Summary:
The Center for Leadership & Community Engagement (CLCE) is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and creative graduate student to join their team. The CLCE Graduate Assistant will be immersed in hands-on experiences that focus on both academic and student affairs, as it relates to community engagement and service. The CLCE Graduate Assistant will be immersed in hands-on experiences that focus on both academic and student affairs, as it relates to community engagement and service. The Community Engagement, Graduate Assistant elevates the community engagement initiatives and service projects in both the Rollins Community and the larger Central Florida Community by taking an active role in all aspects of community care:
Serve as the Staff Advisor for the JUMP (Join Us in Making Progress) 5 – Minute Difference Program
General Office Responsibilities
Maintain Outlook Calendar and respond to emails in timely, professional manner

Education Requirement:
The incumbent must be actively enrolled in a graduate degree seeking program in order to qualify for this position and must remain actively enrolled in a graduate degree seeking program for the duration of their employment in this position. This assistantship is intended for currently enrolled graduate students or individuals whose enrollment into a graduate degree program is imminent (E.g. student has been accepted into a graduate degree program and is awaiting the start classes in the immediate future). Incumbent should be seeking an experiential opportunity in their degree field which may or may not be a requirement for graduation.
