We are seeking to recruit a Careers and Employment Adviser, to join our innovative Student Engagement Team at Lancaster University. This is an exciting time to be joining the team as we are currently reviewing our existing employability provision, and exploring and implementing new ways of supporting students and graduates with their career planning and development. You will have excellent communication and teamwork skills and be motivated to embrace the challenges of developing the employability agenda in higher education.

You must be educated to degree level, or equivalent, with knowledge of the graduate labour market.

You will work alongside our Careers and Employability widening participation team, and support the work of the Faculty Engagement Team.

As a Careers and Employment Adviser, you will be responsible for working with the team to develop an annual plan of activity which reflects the diverse needs of students and employers, in supporting successful student progression into graduate level employment or further study.

Candidates should be adaptable, positive, forward-thinking, calm under pressure and creative. You will also have a passion to continuously improve employability provision at Lancaster.

For this role you will be required to work both online and on campus.
